Hand Cut Roof

This hand-cut roof was constructed off 200mm x 45mm C24 timber, one section is vaulted which had 2 Velux cut in and the other had a standard ceiling height which was formed with 125mm x 45mm timber which also formed the collar tie.

This was an interesting construction with the flying hip which is where the lower pitch line meets the higher ridgeline.
